Trespasser is always driven by Petite Sirah and Mourvedre, along with smaller dashes of Syrah and Grenache. Typically, the blend is focused on our spiciest barrels of Petite Sirah, while the more savory Mourvedre and Syrah components are fermented with about 50% whole clusters. We've been slowly increasing the Mourvedre component over the years because of how well it thrives in Paso Robles, as well as how much we love its deep, savory contribution to the blend. The aromatics scream of black licorice, dried blueberries, and pepper, the palate flowing effortlessly across the tongue with savory earth, tobacco, dense fruit, and ample tannins.
